Randy and I were watching the Home and Garden Channel tonight. They have a show I love called "If Walls Could Talk". I really enjoy learning the history of older homes. Each home they feature has such interesting stories. And the homes have so much character. I think that character is really important in a home. I love architecture and all of the old classic elements: mouldings, facades, dormers, wood floors, transoms, antique lights, interesting roof lines, porches, brick, stone, tall ceilings, barreled ceilings, and character. I love it all. I told Randy I think it would be awesome to buy something with a story. But I think we(I) came to the conclusion that we would like to buy a gorgeous piece of land and build our own story. I have been given the assignment to design the home we will build in Washington. Here are some pictures of our land. It is gorgeous! The pond is covered in snow and ice.
