Govenor's Mansion

One of our favorite things to do when we travel is find great buildings.  I love architecture.  So driving through Salt Lake Cheyenne and I both spotted a fabulous building and had to stop to check it out.  Come to find out it is the Governor's Mansion, and they give tours. (we will definitely be doing that next trip.  If the inside is anything like the outside we are going to love it : ) )

Aren't these marble columns fabulous?  I also love the iron scrolling in the windows and doors.

Every detail was exquisite.   It would have been so fun to watch this building being built.  I am sure I would have annoyed the builders by asking too many questions : )  [I know Dad,  I still ask too many : ) ]
