Rain

I love the sound of rain.  Last Sunday it rained so hard here it was awesome.  We went out on the back porch to get pictures because it was so great. 

 

Quince decided to use the wet lawn as a slip and slide.  It worked great.  In fact it was raining so hard we handed him shampoo when he was done and he washed his hair with the water running off the roof.  (Strange I know, but I didn't want all of that grass and yucky water tracking in my house)

Randy never passes up an opportunity : )

After it stopped raining Randy wanted to go see what the greenbelt looked like.  Initially we were just going to wade, that lasted 5 minutes. : )

 

Cheyenne did not want to get wet.  It took us 5 minutes to convince her that the water was fine.  After she finally started wading Randy couldn't resist. : ) 

What is it about water that we all love so much?

I even got a few splashes in. But then I promptly took over the camera : )

Cheyenne decided to wrestle Quince to the ground.

Randy and I were a little surprised he went down so easy.  I guess we will be doing some more training with him : ) 

Quince almost got her down, but Cheyenne seems to have really good balance. : ) 

Now this was the best slip and slide.

We had so much fun.  Cheyenne said this was one of her most favorite family activities. (I guess a lot can be said for spontaneity)
