Excessive Heat Advisory

You know that it is hot when you hear over the P.A. System,  "Anyone who bursts into flames should not jump into the pool but go immediately to the Devil's Lounge." They continually announced all day, "We are under an extreme heat warning, Hydrate."  

What idiot would spend the day of a "Excessive Heat Advisory" outside from 1pm to 8:15pm?

Guilty.

Randy and I timed all day at a swim meet at ASU.  I know what you are thinking.  What we do for our children. :)

We are now investing in a personal misting system.:)  Frozen fruit kabobs were our favorite treats.  Yum!

The irony of the situation was; we were in Tempe it is was officially an "Excessive Heat day" and their was no cover for the bleachers and no misting systems in sight.  Who is in charge of the Pool area at ASU?  I think they need a suggestion box somewhere:)

Well the good news is we survived.  No body got heat stroke and we get to do it all again tomorrow. :)
