Flashback Friday!!

Ladybug.

This little Shetland pony was so fun.  We thought we were really something because they lets us ride her.  John and I decided to go riding by ourselves.  We saddled her up and went  around the block.  Well we tried to anyway.  Half way around the saddle slid off. ;)  Apparently they push out their bellies while you saddle them and then they every so subtly go back to normal when you are riding.  Thus the saddle rolls to the side.  We did not know that.

We were halfway around the block thinking that we were hot stuff when all of a sudden we feel the saddle shift.  Talk about taking the wind out of our sails.  It is really hard to look cool side ways and upside down on a Shetland pony:)

Since then John has become pretty good around horses.  He will probable deny anything to do with the saddling of Ladybug.  I'm sure it was my fault:) 

We sure had fun.
